We were delighted to welcome Rebecca Woollard, the Food Editor of Delicious magazine, to Chalet Ecritoire for a couple of days last winter and to chat food and skiing with her! A former seasonnaire in Courchevel, she knew the area well and wanted to see how things have changed since she worked in resort and discover the foodie secrets of the Three Valleys.
You can read Rebecca's article, all about the gastronomic treats of the Three Valleys, in the January 2017 issue of the magazine. Click on the link read more: Delicious Magazine
Our catered chalet team did a great job looking after her and she was impressed by our chefs, commenting that they 'knew their stuff'. Rebecca particularly enjoyed a dessert of white chocolate cream with raspberry gel during her stay in Chalet Ecritoire.
We recommended that she visit the Bouc Blanc restaurant (which we, and our regular guests all love!) for a taste of real alpine fare as well as the incredible Cafe Gourmand!
Rebecca also commented that she enjoyed the little extras that we provide such as in-house ski hire from Ski Higher, and the lip balms and tissues we offer to all our guests.
