SKI SCHOOLS IN THE THREE VALLEYS
Beginner lessons in the Three Valleys
All the ski schools we work with provide coaching from beginner level, whether as a group lesson or a private lesson. There are options to suit all budgets, so contact our concierge if you or one of your group require beginner lessons and we can explain how it works and get something booked for you. Please be aware that the earlier we can help you to organise this (especially in peak weeks), the more choice you will have.
Children’s ski and snowboard lessons
If you’re travelling to the Three Valleys as a family and require lessons for your children then please do contact our concierge well in advance so we can reserve your ski lessons on the busier school holiday weeks (Christmas, New year, Half Term and Easter).
Intermediate ski lessons:
Room for improvement? All the three valleys ski and snowboard schools that we work with are well-tuned to customer’s needs, so you can sign up to 5 or 6-day group lessons to make the most of your money and enjoy the group atmosphere, whilst getting top quality coaching and making real improvements. There are morning and afternoon lessons available, so it’s up to you which suits you best (although as always, please bear in mind that booking early gives you more choice!)
If you don’t feel you want to be restricted to daily ski or snowboard lessons you could take one or two private sessions just once during the week to work on a particular area, for instance improving your carving technique, trying to lift yourself off the infamous ‘intermediate plateau’, or pushing yourself a little further and trying off piste or moguls.
Different disciplines…
If you’re already confident on the slopes, perhaps you could try a new discipline for the first time, which is a popular thing to do towards the end of a great week. Try snowboarding, cross country skiing or even telemark or ski touring. Ask our concierge if you’re interested in finding out more. With our local knowledge we should be able to find a coach for most requests!
Ski guiding
If you’d like to cruise around the Three Valleys and make the most of the extensive ski area on offer, we can book a ski guide for you, who will tailor your sessions to whatever you’d like to achieve, whether that’s experiencing the backcountry, trying out all the black runs, or simply beating the lift queue to make the most of your time.
Courchevel and Three Valleys off piste
Ever enviously watched ski or snowboard backcountry videos? For those wanting to experience the thrill of riding in deep powder, but who prefer to know it’s a safe area, it’s a great idea to take a lesson in off piste so that you can gain the techniques specific to powder skiing in a secure environment.
If you’re already accomplished as an off-piste skier or boarder but don’t have much of a clue about avalanche safety techniques then a mountain guide or off piste safety lesson could mean that you’ll be able to head off the beaten track and access powder runs you’ve dreamed of riding.
Snowboard lessons
If you’d like snowboarding lessons whilst on your holiday, we work with Cab 9, who are a dedicated snowboard school offering lessons from beginners to advanced, including off piste and freestyle in the snowparks.
Three Valleys ski and snowboard schools
Ski and Snowboard Schools that we work with are: New Generation, The Development Centre, Oxygene, First Tracks, European Snowsports and ESF in La Tania and Meribel.
